The 1st time hiring someone can be a problem. But I found no reason to be concerned with Chris. He did a fine job. Thorough and efficient. He ran into an unexpected issue which I thought would add significant time to the job, but he took care of it with only an added 1/2 hour of charged time. Will definitely hire him again.

I had difficulty finding a company to install a new Starlink internet dish. MD Home Tech had mounted a tv for me previously and did excellent work. They installed the Starlink satellite dish on the rooftop, ran cable, and disconnected the old satellite internet. They were able to solve several issues and obstacles associated with the install (Starlink sent the wrong kit). I am more than satisfied with the work and delighted to finally have high speed internet!

I’ve had degrading network performance since the pandemic started as the children have all hit their teens (doing online schooling), and my mother moved in with us; online schooling, gaming, and multimedia household usage, eroded my throughput for telecommuting/work needs.

Chris provided network consultation to take my vision and use cases into a practical implementation for the whole household, including improved security with network isolation between (minimally) our work, school, gaming, IoT, and guest needs. My work machine (, and all critical computing devices), have >66 times faster internet speeds now (e.g. from 15 Mbps max to 1 Gbps). At least one of my kids is an avid gamer, and was ecstatic about finally achieving nearly perpetual 0 ping in Fortnite.

We are so impressed with the job Chris did mounting a TV in our basement. He answered all of our questions, provided the mount, and showed up on time.
